longnor - in the staffordshire moorlands and the peak district national park

Holiday Accommodation

Longnor is a great base for exploring the Staffordshire Moorlands and the south-east corner of the Peak District National Park. The only two genuine peaks in the Peak District, Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill, are only a mile away. Both the Dove Valley and Manifold Valley actually start hereabouts - it is possible to walk down one and back up the other for a (tiring) 26-mile walk. For more details, check out the 'Out and About' section.

For anyone interested in walking, cycling and climbing, this is the area for you - and we have plenty of holiday accommodation to suit all budgets.

There is a "working farm" holiday cottage now available at Fern Cottage at Big Fernyford Farm. There is art tuition at 7 Chapel Street with renowned local artist Tony Beresford.
